Conclusion
The Erasmus+ mobility in Ceuta was not only an opportunity for cultural exchange and collaboration but also a powerful experience to reflect on one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time: textile pollution. Throughout the week, students engaged in discussions, workshops, and creative activities that made them more aware of how their daily choices can impact the planet.
From the Preparatory Activities in their home countries to the On-Site Activities in Ceuta, they discovered that sustainability is not an abstract concept, but a practice that can be integrated into education, creativity, and lifestyle. The Upcycling Workshop, the Swap Party, and the cultural visits showed that small, local actions can have a global resonance when people come together with commitment and imagination.
Our partners were truly surprised and delighted by the warm welcome, the carefully prepared program, and the way every activity was presented and carried out. They expressed how much they enjoyed not only the academic and cultural program but also the hospitality and generosity of the local community, especially the families who shared traditional food and traditions with them.
At the end of the week, students synthesized their experiences in the form of newsletters, where they expressed their personal reflections, learning outcomes, and memories of the project. These newsletters captured not only the knowledge they gained about textile waste and sustainable consumption but also the friendships, cooperation, and cultural understanding that grew throughout the mobility.
The impact of the project also reached beyond the school: local newspaper covered the Upcycling Workshop, highlighting the students’ creativity and their commitment to sustainability. The project was further shared through the district’s social media channels, allowing the wider community to see and celebrate the Erasmus+ activities.

In conclusion, this Erasmus+ experience proved that young people have both the awareness and the creativity to become active agents of change. By rethinking fashion, reusing clothes, and raising their voices against textile overconsumption, they learned that protecting the environment starts with small but meaningful steps. The mobility ended, but the commitment to sustainability continues.
